Church Services and Opening Times We have reviewed the current arrangements for holding services and opening the church for private prayer in the light of the new lockdown restrictions. The restrictions continue to allow communal worship and opening for private prayer. We think it a good thing to maintain continuity of worship and prayer in the church even with small numbers, but particular caution is clearly desirable at the present time. Until further notice, therefore, there will continue to be a live service each Sunday at 9.45 a.m., but we encourage everyone to err on the side of caution, and to access the on-line service instead if they are vulnerable or at all concerned. On-line services every Sunday will continue, as will the mid-week Zoom Evening Prayer or Compline at 7.30 p.m. every Wednesday. To ensure an extended interval between times of opening, the church will no longer be open for private prayer on Saturdays, but only on Sundays until 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
